Residents in two PO postcodes were left without electricity for more than four hours after two separate power cuts today.

People living in the PO10 postcode lost power shortly before 10.30am while those living in PO11 lost their supply half an hour after.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks spokeswoman Emily McDonald said 20 homes across the two districts had been affected.

On its website Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks said it hoped engineers would return power in the P010 district by 2.30pm, and the company has now confirmed that power has been restored to all homes.
