Waterlooville will today be switching on its Christmas lights and bringing a festive feel to the town.

When is it? 

The Waterlooville Christmas Light switch on will take place today – Saturday, November 17.

What time will it start? 

The lights will be switched on at 5.15pm but there will be events taking place from midday. 

What entertainment will there be? 

There will be music and entertainment from midday with a lantern procession at 4.30pm from the south end of London Road, led by Horndean Band. 

There will also be a sing-along around the Christmas tree which will then be followed by the Christmas lights switch-on. 

Who is turning the lights on? 

The Mayor of Havant, Cllr Peter Wade will be switching the lights on at 5.15pm.
