January is the perfect time to buy a new home at the Bellway Homes.

The Haven development in Horndean Road, Emsworth due to some fantastic offers being available.

‘We have some homes ready to move into, in this fabulous location, and we are providing great incentives to help potential purchasers make their move,’ says Marie Terrey, sales manager.

‘There is the opportunity to reserve for just £99 for those who reserve between January 5 and 20 inclusive this year.

‘If that were not enough we may also be able to help with other incentives towards the purchase, worth thousands of pounds, so it is well worth asking for full details.’

The incentives have been designed to encourage purchasers to capitalise on the low interest rates which have reached a 23-year low-point.

‘There is plenty of information around at present to indicate there has seldom been a better time to buy a new home,’ says Kim Caldwell, sales director of Bellway Homes Wessex Region.

‘I have heard people are waiting to see what happens with Brexit but I think the time to act is now. When Brexit is sorted out, one way or the other, it is highly likely rates will increase.’
Information published by the New Homes Mortgage Helpline states the Help to Buy door is as wide open as it is going to get.

From 2021 there will be a regional price cap and the scheme will be for first-time buyers only. At present this much-used scheme can be used to purchase first, second or third-time homes up to a value of £599,995.

‘For some reason people seem to think it is cheaper to rent a property than it is to buy one so they dismiss the thought of getting on to the property ladder,’ added Marie.

‘That may well have been the case in the past but it is certainly very different now.

‘With schemes such as Help to Buy there is a very real prospect of being able to buy a new home and save yourself some money into the bargain.’

Currently available at The Haven are two- bedroom homes with a starting price from £289,995; three-bedroom homes from £319,995 and four-bedroom homes from £469,995.

Emsworth’s charming streets are lined with a good mix of independent shops and businesses, including traditional fishmongers, antique stores and family-owned boutiques.
Innkeeper-style pubs are dotted around the bustling town square, alongside award-winning restaurants and pavement cafés and all are within an easy walk from the development.

Express Mover is a great solution if you want to buy a new Bellway home but have not yet sold your existing house.

A respected local estate agent will be used to market your home at an agreed price.

You can trade up, down or sideways and can still use the scheme even if you do not live within the area.

Bellway will work with the estate agent to promote the sale of your home as well as paying your estate agents’ fees.

You can also take great confidence in knowing Bellway Homes has been awarded five-star status by the Home Builders Federation (HBF).

The award is the highest accolade a house-builder can achieve and the rating is based on feedback from customers in the weeks after they move into their new home.
