When she was the chief guest at Cosham Rotary Club’s ladies’ day, Ald Loe said: ‘My hope is that there will be a great increase in fostering in this city.

‘We have only half enough foster parents, and there is a desperate need for more people with time, accommodation and a love for children to give their names to the social services department.’
