Everyone has a bad hair day once in a while. But a father-of-two from Clanfield had a bad hair day out of choice.

Steve Bookham decided to have a different hairstyle very day of the week to raise money for village toddler, Kerry Walker who was born with stunted fingers.

Kerry's parents, Dave and Marie, were trying to raise £40 000 to take their two-year-old daughter to America in September for surgery to lengthen her fingers.

Mr Bookham, who hoped to raise about £800 overall, said at the time he had forgotten about his hairstyle because he could not see it.

His hairstyles were created free of charge by Sophie Thompson at The Salon, Clanfield.

'˜When I've walked past a mirror, I've had to look twice because at first it didn't look like me,' said Mr Bookham.
