There's less than two weeks to go until this year's Great South Run gets underway and a slew of runners make tackle the tough run to the finish line.
Tens of thousands of people are set to take part in the event, which will take place across the weekend of Saturday 20 October and Sunday 21 October.
The 10-mile Great South Run route will meander its way from South Parade in Portsmouth, taking in the historic dockyard, the naval base and residential streets, before finishing the final mile along the seafront.
As well as the 10 mile run, there will also be a 5k distance, Junior and Mini runs, as well as a canine run.
The event is open to people of all ages and ability, whether you're taking part to try and win or simply to complete the course, or raise some funds for charity.
If you are in it to win it, there are prizes up for grabs for the fastest five male and female competitors.
The prize pots for men and women are both equal in amount and are as follows:
1st place - £1,500
2nd place - £1,250
3rd place - £750
4th place - £500
5th place - £300
Entry for the race is currently still open, but with not long to go, those wanting to take part will need to be quick.
To enter the race, you will need to register on the Great South Run's website here.
