Dramatic finish to Portsmouth Duathlon Series

Victory in the Lordshill 10 completed a prestigious double for Zack Lahlal.

He picked up the first-place prize in the junior category, completing the 10-mile race with a time of 56min 26sec – good enough for 14th overall out of 499 finishers on Sunday.

The Victory athlete also won the Bupa Great South Run 5k in Portsmouth the weekend before, with a time of 15.47.

Meanwhile, City of Portsmouth’s Alex Teuten took third overall in the Lordshill event in 52.18, a minute outside Winchester athlete Toby Lambert’s winning time.

Stubbington Green’s Daniel O’Boyle was fourth in 52.52.

Chichester runner James Baker finished sixth (53.30).
