Havant parkrun - Run director Howard Clark gave the briefing for Havant event number 209.
Staunton Country Park is a nice venue and the course is now quite dry, making it ideal in the quest for quick times.
That proved to be the case with 40 runners setting new personal bests.
Out of the 225 runners who completed the event, 19 were first timers to Havant.
Richard Bowpitt, of Sparkhill Harriers, was one of the runners to record a new personal best as he crossed the line first in a time of 18min 33sec.
Jane Harrop, who is in the 55 to 59 age category, finished first lady with a time of 20.08 and achieved an impressive age graded score of 88.74 per cent.
The event was also attended by members of the Rowlands Castle Tennis Club who are regulars at the parkrun.
