Tom Hoskinson leads the charge at Havant parkrun

It was excellent weather for the 330th Havant parkrun event on Saturday.

Tom Hoskinson finished in first position and got a new personal best.

He ran his 138th parkrun completed the 5k course at Staunton Country Park with a time of 18min 31sec.

It was a good day for Tom's dad Tony as well who set a new personal best of 26.00 as he ran his 154th parkrun.

Second-placed Matthew Russell also got a new personal best of 18.54.

Ellie Farrow finished seventh overall and was the first female. The City of Portsmouth teenager has had an excellent summer winning many of the major track titles and representing her country.

In total 266 people completed the parkrun.

Nicholas Minter finished in first place with a time of 20.46 at the 283rd Queen Elizabeth parkrun.

Lauren Civill-Holt was the first female finisher as she completed the hilly 5k in a time of 25.41.

In total 87 people did the 5k at the country park.

Chichester parkrun had 207 finishers for their 211th parkrun.

James Baker finished in first place with Ned Potter getting a new personal best of 17.42 to take second position.

Olivia Toms was the first female finisher in a time of 19.47.

Second was Alice Wright who ran a new personal best of 20.04.

The event takes place in Oaklands Park.
