The 30th edition of the popular race proved a big success.

A total of 1,576 runners completed the event, hosted by Gosport Road Runners.

Jo Corbett, who competes for Chichester Runners AC, was first to finish in a good time of 1hr 11min 09sec, with strong winds making for challenging conditions.

Sarah Hill, of Farnham Runners, took the prize for first lady, finishing in 1.20.27.

Portsmouth Joggers, Fareham Crusaders, Denmead Striders, Stubbington Green, Victory and Isle of Wight Road Runners were among the clubs very well represented.
