Floyd Moore rocked South Parade Pier on the city’s latest fight night.

Moore chalked up an impressive fifth-round stoppage over Janis Puksins to send his army of fans home happy on Saturday night.

It was a crowd-pleasing display from the Fareham light-welterweight, who was roared on by hundreds of supporters.

Moore wasn’t the only talent, though, to deliver a stoppage success on a successful night for local boxers.

Joel McIntyre was at his forceful best on the way to a third-round stoppage over Egidijus Kakstys.

And Stephen Danyo showed that he is a class act in the making as the Dutch sensation dismantled Damien Dinwiddy in two rounds.

Ryan Moore’s education continued as the Waterlooville ace got a good night’s work under his belt on the way to a points win over Dan Blackwell.

Mark Coombs shrugged off illness to deliver a points success against Louis Byrne over four rounds.

Danny Couzens marked his return to the ring after a 17-month lay-off by getting the verdict over James Tucker over four rounds.

Chris Hobbs, Tommy Watson and Lee Jenman were also winners on a night which delivered decent entertainment.
