Clubs warming up for new outdoor bowls season

SHORTLY after Easter is the time when outdoor bowlers get ready for the new season which, for the Portsmouth & District League, starts on Monday, April 25.

All the clubs in the area will always welcome newcomers to try their hand at the sport.

As such, a number of them are holding open days so that anyone, young or old, can have a try for free.
