Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson both picked up three wickets as England continued to dominate India on day three of the third Test at the Ageas Bowl.
After India resumed their first innings on 25 for one in reply to the home side’s 569 for seven declared, the duo reduced them to 323 for eight at the close.
Broad (three for 65) got the better of Chesteshwar Pujara (24) and Murali Vijay (35) before knocking over Bhuvneshwar Kumar (19) as stumps approached.
Anderson, meanwhile, claimed three for 52 as he removed Virat Kohli (39) and Ravindra Jadeja (31) to add to last night’s scalp of Shikhar Dhawan.
India will begin the fourth day still 246 runs adrift, with England bidding to press home their advantage and push for victory in the final two days.
