Byron Haycock starred again as Waterlooville recorded a 190-run win over Alton II in Hampshire League division one.
The South African ace hit 91 and received good support from Alex Shephard who hit 71 off 70 balls.
In reply, Alton were shot out for just 83 runs.
Ville’s ploy of opening their bowling with John Burnett paid off as the spinner took three wickets.

The home side escaped from 130 for eight to finish on 194 for nine.
To add to Harrop’s misery, his side were then skittled out for just 96 runs.
‘We had Portchester in all sorts of trouble but ended up giving away 55 extras,’ said Harrop.
‘That’s what cost us the game.’
Dave O’Neill (three for 28) and Blake Barnwell (two for 21) were the pick of the Portchester bowlers.
Locks Heath lost at Easton & Martyr Worthy.
In division two, Hayling Island romped to an eight-wicket success at Rowner.
