Ethan Craik secured
a fifth-successive win at the Southern Championship.

The Cams Hill School pupil also raced hard to win the South Region Summer Series title for the fifth year running.

The 11-year old Gosport BMX talent
went unbeaten throughout the series – winning all six of the rounds he entered in the under-12 competition.

Craik’s triumph came on the back of his second spot in the National Series, where he raced up an age category, and a sixth-place finish in the World Championships in Rotterdam.

Ethan wasn’t the only Craik to impress this season.

Younger brother Lucas followed in his sibling’s footsteps to claim his own fifth successive win at the South Region Summer Series.

The nine year old also finished third at the Southern Championships.

Overall, Gosport BMX have had an extremely successful campaign.

Casey Markley, racing in the under-eight age group, Evan Watson, competing in the under-13s, Chloe Vine, in the 15-16 age group, and Bethany Fletcher, competing in the 17-29 age category, all secured impressive victories at the South Region Summer Series.

Meanwhile, Rhys Deans claimed the top spot in the under-13 age group at the Southern Championships.

There was also a fine double success for Hannah Hedges.

She won the seven to eight age group category in the South Region Summer Series.

The young rider then raced to the top of the pack to also claim the title at the Southern Championships to crown what has been a memorable year for her and for Gosport BMX club.
