Painters threatened an upset as Stephen Perry and Jerry Ellison put the division E outfit 2-1 up after Alex Hood had taken the opener for Oyster.
Scott Tucker and Chris Cobb snr put the division D side back on top before Painters’ Ron Hopkins made it 3-3.
Jim Stone, Daniel Wheeler and Chris Shinar then took the remaining ties to give Oyster the match.

Jim Mortimer (Jolly Taxpayer C), Barry Gibson, Ron Jafkins (both Mr Pickwick B), Dean Jones and Del Thomson (both Newcome Arms A) all notched 18-dart legs.
Thomson hit a maximum and finished on 112, Jones scored 180 and finished on 105, Jafkins fired a 120 game-shot and Mortimer a 112 check-out.
