Graham Arms said goodbye to Portsmouth Men's League division three with a win as they promoted runners-up beat Froddington Arms 6-3.

Froddington took the initial lead with legs from Matthew Toms and Dave Paul, writes Lee Todd.

But Graham then seized control a Martin Simmons, Nigel Young, John O'Donnell, Terry Griffiths and Mark Morgan were all on the mark.

Ron Hannam took a consolation leg for Froddington before Mark Mihell added Graham's sixth.

Rose in June A paid the price for being short of players as they lost 5-4 to Oyster House A in division four.

Lee Main and Alex Hood gave Oyster a 2-1 advantage after Archie Newstead won the opener for Rose.

Three legs on the trot from Rose's Dave Holton, David Lennox and Graham Turner put them in the driving seat.

Bob Osborne scored 180 as he won the seventh leg for Oyster and that was all they needed as they were awarded the remaining ties as walkovers for Rob Loveridge and David James, gifting them the match.

Relegated Stag B left division one in style as they signed-off with a 5-4 victory over Lord Chichester B.

Chichester went 2-1 up as Ray Williams and Ross Hughes won sets either side of a Stag win for Phil Lock.

Dave Lock pulled a set back for Stag.

But Chichester then moved within one set of victory as Kevin Gilchrist and Justin Hughes put them 4-2 up, with Gilchrist registering a 15-dart leg and 121 finish and Hughes an 18-darter and 104 check-out.

But Stag refused to roll over as Gary Dean and Steve Clarke made it 4-4 and Liam O'Driscoll was awarded the decisive set as a walkover.

Clarence Gardens ended their division two season on a high with a 7-2 win against Druids Arms B.

Despite Dan Shambrook winning the opening clash for Clarence, Druids took a 2-1 lead thanks to Graham Clow and Nigel Coleman.

It was one-way traffic from there on with James Miller, Aaron Shambrook, Lee Robertson, Liam Hancock, Juke Amos and Paul Richmond, with an 18-darter and a 180, propelling Clarence to a convincing win.

Phil Harty (Admiral Drake B) was in fine form with 15 and 17-dart legs along with a 180 and 101 game-shot, while his team-mates Justin Bradshaw and Mike Symes both finished legs in 16 darts and Adam Lipscombe notched a 17-darter.

There were 18-dart efforts from Dan Eade (Phoenix North End B), Charlie Hymers (Druids Arms A), Dave Smith (Jolly Taxpayer C) and Gary Collis (Admiral Drake B), with Collis also scoring 160.

Shane Mullins (Rose in June B) and Lee Smith (Phoenix North End B) both fired in maximums.
