
The veteren cueist is still playing at the top table at the age of 88.
He started on the baize in 1947 and was Portsmouth Champion on three occasions.
Hushley was one of the stars at Portsmouth Radical Club who were top dogs for seven years in the 50s and 60s, playing alongside John Colpus, Alf Hobbs and Les Kitchen.
He also won The Harding Cup for billiards and played in the Inter-Town competition for many years along with Frank Wyatt.

He was a qualified referee for more than 50 years.
At 82 he won the over 50s Trophy and is a life member for services on the Committee.
