Jayden Hickley extended his lead over Callum Olivares to six points in division two.

Turning to snooker, the chasing pack is closing in on runway leader Zak Truscott in the Monday Junior League.

Defeats by Owen Jenkins and top group winner Jamie Wilson in the week-nine action reduced Truscott's advantage to seven points.

Wilson is now second by one frame from Jenkins.

Samuel Laxton, who made a 31 break, won the other group and moved up to second place in division two, one point behind Ryan Kneller.

Two new high breaks were recorded in the Wednesday Junior League.

Billy Reid, a founder member of the league, cleared the last five colours for a 25 against Jenkins.

And Aaron Wilson potted two reds and two colours for a 14 against Brookes.

Top group winner Jamie Wilson is now just three points adrift of defending champion and division one leader Laxton.

Three wins out of three took Thomas Sharp up to third.

Reid heads division two and Kneller has taken over top spot in division three.
