Adams: Touchline ban won't affect Plymouth at Portsmouth
Derek Adams is adamant his touchline ban won't affect him against Pompey.
The Plymouth boss will be forced to watch his side’s trip to Fratton Park tomorrow from the directors’ box.
Adams is serving a two-match touchline ban after being sent off at Southend earlier this month.
As a consequence, he’s unable to be present in the technical area for the League One clash against Kenny Jackett’s men.
Adams also in the stands for the Pilgrims’ 3-2 defeat to Millwall in the Carabao Cup second round on Wednesday.
Regardless, the Scot has insisted the ban will not impact his role at Fratton Park.
He told Plymouth Live: ‘I was in full contact throughout the game at Millwall with the dug-out.
‘Kevin Nancekivell (first-team coach) and I were wired up for the full 90 minutes.
‘It doesn’t affect my job.’
