AFC Portchester Ladies maintain 100 per cent record – and they’ve yet to concede a goal this season

AFC Portchester’s ladies team maintained their 100 per cent seasonal record in romping to a Portsmouth & District FA Cup victory over AFC Bedhampton Village.

The Royals, who have won their opening four games in Division 3 of the Hampshire Women’s League, cruised to a 10-0 win at The Crest Finance Stadium.

Impressively, the team still haven’t conceded a goal in 2020/21.

The Portchester squad is a mix of players who were at the club last season, some who have returned to the sport after time out, and five 17-year-olds who were in last season’s under-16 team - Ella Wilson, Sarah Kelsall, Bella Longyear, Hannah Priest and Ava Colbourne.

Wilson fired a hat-trick against Bedhampton while veteran Michelle Niven - once of Fleetlands - also struck three times with Kelsall (2), Laura Streeter and Lynsey Crewe completing the double-figure rout.
