Rovers fell behind in the 34th minute when Lee Wort netted for the hosts.

Sholing's lead was doubled in the 50th minute when visiting keeper Cameron Scott's clearance ricocheted off his own player and rebounded into the empty net.

The hosts wrapped up the three points in the 80th minute through Daniel Mason. 

Jason Parish scored a late consolation for Steve Leigh's side.

Meanwhile, AFC PORTCHESTER defeated Shaftesbury 3-1 at the Crest Finance Stadium.
