Aston Villa loanee delighted to be back at Portsmouth after '˜hell' of a year
The Aston Villa loanee is back at Fratton Park, after having a cyst removed from his knee last month.Â
Green completed the early stages of his rehabilitation as his parent club and is now finishing his recovery at the Blues.

He told Express FM: '˜It's been a bit frustrating for me. I'm happy to be back and can hopefully get on the pitch, stay on the pitch, and play a few games.
'˜The past year was a hell kind of year for me.
'˜I was always injured at Villa. Your main aim as a footballer is to be on the pitch every week and keep it going consistently.
'˜Before I got injured I enjoyed coming into training.
'˜It's a great place to be and I'm happy I'm at this club on loan.

'˜Being back in the gates of the training ground is really good and I can't wait to be back in full training.
'˜It was nice. The boys came up to me asking 'how is it?'Â
'˜Luke (McGee) is one of my best friends. He's a bit of an idiot as well sometimes but came up to me and gave me a hug!
'˜It's nice to see them all. It's always nice when you're away from your team-mates and you come back.
'˜You know they've missed you because it's a close group.'

Hide AdGreen revealed how the cyst on his knee was irritating his ACL before he went under the knife.
The operation has remedied that issue, however, with his knee no longer causing him problems.Â
'˜I had a cyst in my knee and it was affecting the ACL,' added Green.Â
'˜A part of it was still on my ACL so I had to see a surgeon, see what was going on with that and try to get enough out of the knee I could.
'˜Thankfully it all went well, there's nothing left in there and the knee is feeling good again.'
