The home side have been in rampant form, chalking up 12 goals in their last two games.

They followed up an 8-1 hammering of Portland - the club’s record Wessex top flight win - with a 4-3 League Cup victory at Lymington Town on Tuesday.

Manager Shaun Wilkinson wants his team to maintain their momentum.

'We need to carry on what we have been doing and make winning a habit,' he said.

'The lads are in good spirits and playing well.

'The FA Vase is a competition that we would like to have a good run in particularly after going out of the FA Cup.

'It can be good for the players and financially rewarding for the club.'

The home side have to do without goalkeeper Charlie Searle who is on holiday.

It is a blow because Searle has been outstanding in the early games.

Wilkinson is hoping to bring in either ex-Hawk Ryan Young or ex-Gosport Borough goalkeeper Nick Jordan as a replacement.

Last weekend's hat-trick hero Tommy Scutt and striker Tyler Moret are both regarded as only 50/50 to be fit.

But Charlie Williamson, Josh Warren and Nathan Kirby return to the squad.
