Both clubs are aiming to become the first division one side to reach the final of the competition.

The home side are also looking to turn the tables on their visitors who have beaten them twice already this season.

‘This is a massive game for us,’ said Baffins manager Louis Bell.

‘We would love to finish the season with a promotion and cup final double.

‘It is our first year at this level so to make the final would be a fantastic achievement.

‘Hopefully the tie will capture the imagination of the local football community and we can get a good turn-out.

‘It makes a huge difference to the players with a big crowd getting behind them.’

Moneyfields are also hoping to secure an end of season cup final as they visit Petersfield Town in the semi-final of the Portsmouth Senior Cup.

The winners will take on the Hawks at Fratton Park in the final in May.

Dave Carter believes that is a fantastic incentive for his players ahead of the game.

‘All of our lads are local players and would relish the chance to play at Fratton Park,’ said Carter.

‘We are not expecting it to be easy even though Petersfield have struggled this season.’

While in Southern League division one central Petersfield have gained only nine points all season and only two victories, they have moved through the cup in relative comfort.

Rams chairman Graeme Moir thinks the opposition will be expected to progress.

He said: ‘Despite being at home and having a higher league status than our visitors, Moneyfields will start the game as favourites.

‘The favourites tag is one they fully deserve – they are a strong side and they are leading the way in the Wessex premier division.

‘The pressure is off our lads.’

AFC Portchester travel to Brockenhurst in the Wessex League premier division tonight.

In division one United Services Portsmouth host AFC Stoneham at Burnaby Road (7.45pm).
