Bradbury: Hawks must toughen up after Bromley loss

The Westleigh Park outfit were condemned to a 4-0 National League loss at Hayes Lane.

The visitors were second best throughout the clash and struggled to match the Ravens physically.

Poor defending from the Hawks gifted Omar Bugiel a first-half double, while Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe bagged a brace after the interval.

Bradbury was frustrated in the manner his side conceded twice in the first period and has told his troops to learn from the loss.

The Hawks manager said: '˜We need to toughen up after giving away two terrible goals in the first half.

'˜It was just a case of our players not doing their jobs and we can't afford to give goals away like that.

'˜It left us chasing the game, which was always going to provide them with more opportunities.

'˜We were outmuscled and have to learn from that.

'I went with biggest, strongest side I could knowing this would be the case against Bromley and we have to come to terms with it.'

Bromley took the lead on eight minutes when Bugiel was left unmarked from a free-kick and headed home. 

The striker grabbed his second of the game in the 32nd minute when, yet again, he was first to a free-kick and buried his effort beyond Hawks keeper Ryan Young.

With Bradbury's men chasing the game, Ogedi-Uzokwe added a third for the Ravens when he hammered a loose ball into the roof of the net on 57 minutes.

And the Colchester loanee fired in his second with 17 minutes remaining to endure more misery on the Hawks.
