Bradford could be without top scorer Charlie Wyke for Pompey's visit to Valley Parade on Saturday.

The 14-goal striker was sent off in the Bantams’ 1-0 defeat at Plymouth last weekend.

Wyke received a straight red card for putting his arm in the face of Pilgrims defender Sonny Bradley in the 90th minute.

Bradford have lodged an appeal against the dismissal and, if cleared, the former Middlesbrough marksman will be available to face the Blues.

However, if that isn’t successful then Wyke will serve the start of a three-match ban.

The 25-year-old was also sent off against Oxford United in December but Bradford successfully appealed the red card.
