Champs up first for Pompey Ladies
Pompey Ladies have been handed a plumb opener for their FA Women's Premier League bow.
Vanessa Raynbird’s side will host defending league champions Sunderland at Moneyfields FC on Sunday, August 19 (2pm).
It is a testing start for Pompey, who earned promotion to the top flight after winning the Premier League southern division last term.
Raynbird’s team are at home again for their second match of the season, when they take on Aston Villa, before travelling to Manchester Cityon Sunday, September 9.
