Charity to abseil for autism
Autism Hampshire supporters are taking on the tower on Saturday August 20.
According to the charity there are an estimated 18,000 people in Hampshire who have autism.

Hide AdThe charity event gives people the chance to take the 300ft dive in their annual fundraiser.
Jess, who has an autistic cousin, took part in the event last year. She said: ‘The worst part for me was going up and getting over the edge, but once I did this all my fears vanished.
‘I’m so proud of myself for doing the abseil, it’s something I will never forget.’
Last year’s event raised £8,000, which went towards the charity’s day service, university mentoring support, specialist training and the residential care homes, among other initiatives.
Taking part in this year’s abseil comes with a £50 registration fee, which also goes towards the charity’s work.
