How well @tomnaylor2 played for and led @officialpompey v @BarnsleyFC, Good to see him, Ben Close and Bryn Morris linking well in central midfield, Tom looks like an excellent captain. PUP !

Everyone debating the penalty taker yesterday, still going on about it now?! They're professional footballers who can all strike a dead ball from 12 yards... 50/50 chance, keeper went the right way, is what it is! There's no skill in it #pompey

@samknight9

Great respect by both #Pompey and #Barnsley fans yesterday for the late Mick Kennedy RIP. #PUP

@RestoreMyFloor

Off to bed after a very emotional #Pompey day for me ( #RIPMickKennedy ) but before I hit the sack I just wanted to give a massive 'big it up' for @Burgey44 - the character and resolve this fella has shown in view of all his recent adversity is commendable - #PUP

@PropPersonnel

Tears were shed in Pompeyland today/yesterday - never in my 48 years have I witnessed a reaction like that to a Pompey player #MuchlovefromthePompeyFamilyxx

Beautiful man Burgess was sliding around the pitch making tackles like they were nothing. Playing as if he was trying to get into the history books (dodgy history joke cause I know Burgess loves history) he stood out on that pitch nor because of his height but he performance.

@HazzaYT

@macgillivray93 for  what you do for us that clean sheet was well deserved. It's been a long time since we had a solid keeper like you down Fratton and I just hope you play most of your career at Pompey as your already loved by the fans and everyone else at the club

@JackMonnery

Scoring the penalty could’ve made such a difference, but against a very good side that was a good performance and fair result overall. Biggest positive from today was we increased our gap over 7th place. Play like we did today and may have a good chance in playoffs #pompey
