Ertl hopes it's lucky 13 at Pompey
Pompey have unveiled their squad numbers for the forthcoming campaign.
Skipper Johnny Ertl will now be wearing number 13, changing from the number 18 shirt he wore last season.
Phil Smith has been handed number one, so goalkeeping rival John Sullivan will take number 25.
Strikers Patrick Agyemang (23) and David Connolly (nine) will continue with the numbers they sported last term.
The same applies for Jed Wallace (35) and Dan Butler (34), regardless of establishing themselves as first-team regulars.
Romain Padovani has been given number eight, while fellow new-boy Danny East’s number is four and Ricky Holmes has got number 11.
Interestingly, three and 33 have still to be allocated – numbers worn by Ricardo Rocha during his Pompey career.

Pompey’s first pre-season friendly of the summer is at the Hawks (7.45pm) for what should be a bumper gate.
However, those attending have been advised to use official car parks in order to avoid potential parking fines from patrolling traffic wardens.
There are a number of car parks in Havant within walking distance which are free after 6pm.
The Hawks also have their own car park, with space for around 200 vehicles, although this is expected to fill up well in advance of the match this evening.
