The boss doesn't expect his side to win '“ but insists Horndean will go for their hosts' jugular.

'˜This is a free hit for us,' said Birmingham.

'˜It is one of the toughest draws we could have got.

'˜We are not expected to get through so we can hopefully go and express ourselves and put on a show.

'˜Being the FA Cup, of course there is the feeling that anything can happen.

'˜Margate are a big, powerful side with plenty of quality in their ranks.

'˜If we are to pull off an upset then we will have to be at our very best.

'˜At the same time, Margate will need to have an off-day.'

Meanwhile, in the Wessex League premier division, AFC Portchester are desperate to get back to winning ways after their 6-0 FA Vase thrashing at Bashley.

Joint-manager Mick Catlin is demanding a reaction.

He said: '˜Our last performance was bitterly disappointing.

'˜Hopefully our players are still hurting from it. We need a much-improved display.'

Baffins Milton Rovers are aiming to halt buoyant Bashley, while Fareham look to extend their six-game unbeaten run at Alresford.
