Manager Craig McAllister wants to see extra hard work and determination from his players.

He knows second-placed Blackfield & Langley will be strong in the Southern League Cup clash at Privett Park (7.45pm).

The Gosport boss has seen his side lose twice in a row on their own ground.

He said: '˜This is another difficult game for us and one we have to take seriously, they are going well and their confidence will be high.

'˜We will be wanting to get the 4-1 defeat by Salisbury out of our system.

'˜I am glad we have got this game following on so quickly because it gives us an opportunity to put things right.

'˜We have to see it as a chance to restore some of our confidence.

'˜It is vital we work that little bit harder. I want the players to go out there and prove they care.'

Borough didn't help their cause against Salisbury by conceding two penalties and this is an area they will look to tighten up.

Ryan Pennery scored again for Borough and he was a big positive.

McAllister added: '˜Ryan has been getting in the right place at the right time and taking his chances.'

Borough expect to have goalkeeper Mark Childs back in contention after injury.

Bognor entertain Burgess Hill Town in the Bostik League premier division at Nyewood Lane (7.45pm).

The fourth-placed Rocks will start as firm favourites against their winless Sussex neighbours who are bottom of the league.

In the Wessex League Cup, United Services Portsmouth host Andover Town at the Victory Stadium (7.45pm).

The winners will entertain Petersfield Town in the third round.
