Connor Mansfield gave Strawberry a lifeline when he converted a penalty, but Mitch Frost completed the scoring from another spot-kick late on.

Harvest now face Wymering twice in eight days - first in the quarter finals of the Hampshire Vase and then in the Mid-Solent League.

Ray Ogilvie’s table-toppers are also still in the Father Purcell Cup, and they started the season by beating Strawberry 1-0 in the Billy Hill Cup final - Newer on target in that one.

The Strawbs have now lost three times this term, and each time Harvest have been their conquerors.

Meon Milton player-boss Matt Hickley suffered a bad leg injury as his side advanced to the last four of the Len Day Cup with a 5-3 win over Portchester Rovers.

Hickley was hurt rushing out to try and block a shot from John Butler, who scored all his side’s consolations.

Bobby Read was another hat-trick hero for Meon.
