Lee Bradbury’s Hawks slipped closer to relegation as they suffered a 6-0 mauling at St Albans City.

A nightmare first half left the Hawks trailing 4-0 at half-time.

The visitors’ defensive woes continued in the second half as Saints cruised to the win with two further goals.

Borough did little better at Chelmsford City where their outside chances of making the play-offs disappeared with a 6-1 defeat.

The home side romped into a 4-0 lead before Justin Bennett pulled a goal back before the break from the penalty spot.

There was no way back for Borough in the second half and they ended up well beaten.
