The goalkeeper signed off his contract with the club, after recently being replaced between the posts by Ben Dudzinski.

Young made more than 200 appearances for the Hawks after arriving from AFC Telford in 2014.

He was virtually an ever-present during his time at Westleigh Park, helping Lee Bradbury's side win the National League South title last campaign.

However, the 37-year-old has been dislodged by Dudzinski as the Hawks' No1 keeper in the National League this term.

Bradbury is sorry to see Young leave Westleigh Park and accepts he played a huge part in the Hawks' success in the past few years.

'˜I am gutted because Ryan is one of the best signings that I have made,' said the boss.

'˜This is a tough decision for both the club and the player.

'˜He has been a big character around the club and one who always wears his heart on his sleeve.'
