And during that busy spell, only the clash against the Gills is at PO4.

What's more, it's Pompey's first home game in two weeks and they won't play at Fratton Park for another fortnight afterwards.

Jackett's troops go into the match confident following victories on the road at Rochdale and Coventry.

Now back in front of their own supporters, the boss insists his side will do everything they can to entertain the fans.

He said: '˜It's always important to win your next game wherever you are.

'˜The next game in football is everything, it's all you focus on, and rightly so.

'˜We want to do everything we can to put on a show for our fans.

'˜It's in the middle of quite a number of away games.

'˜It's a different type of test and one we have to adapt to and overcome.'

Gillingham travel to Fratton Park having failed to pick up a win since August 11 and are in the relegation zone.

In contrast, Pompey have won eight of their 11 games this season and set the pace at the summit.

Despite being at opposite ends of the table, Jackett warned his troops not to underestimate Lovell's outfit.

He added: '˜It's a different test from Coventry and Rochdale.

'˜I have a lot of time for their manager, Steve Lovell.

'˜A big feature of their play is getting forward and getting people in the box.

'˜It's a different test we've just overcome at Rochdale and Coventry.

'˜We have to make sure we're ready and determined.

'˜We understand it's a different type of game and we have to be good enough to overcome the opposition.'
