Mick Catlin is hoping he gets more opportunities against the Hertfordshire visitors in the Tuesday night match at Privett Park (7.45pm).

Connor did well for us in his first game, though he didn’t get any chances,’ said the Gosport boss.

‘I am expecting this one to be a different type of game though.

‘He has a good pedigree and if we can get him in and around the box he poses a real threat

‘It isn’t easy coming into a struggling team but he was keen to come.

‘That is the sort of attitude we need in our situation.

‘The focus is on our performances and improving each game.

‘This is a game we are targeting to win and the aim is to put together enough results to get off the bottom.

‘Once we do that I am sure we can stay there.’

Borough can take encouragement from the fact they drew at Kings Langley in their final game before Catlin took over.

Now Catlin is keen to see them go one better and get a victory.
