The midfielder has returned to Dover Road on a permanent deal after spending last season at higher division pair Gosport Borough and Hartley Wintney.

The 22-year-old midfielder came through the Hawks academy at South Downs College.

Though he signed his first contract at Westleigh Park in 2015, he only made two league starts for the club - both in the National League in September 2018.

Ridge has been out on loan numerous times in his career, including three spells with Moneyfields.

He scored four goals in 10 appearances over two stints in 2016/17, the season in which Moneys won promotion from the Wessex League. Ridge was also on loan to Southern League pair Winchester City and AFC Totton in the same season.

He was loaned out again to Bognor Regis at the start of 2018/19, but recalled by Lee Bradbury and made his debut in the National League. Two months later he was loaned out again to Hartley Wintney.

Joining Gosport last summer, Ridge scored on his league debut - the final goal in a 3-0 home win over Taunton on the opening day.

But that was to prove his only goal for the club and earlier this year he returned to Hartley Wintney on loan again.
