The Fareham businessman is one of three PST members who also sit on Pompey’s seven-man board.

Now he has kept his role in the Trust after polling the most votes in the recent election by members to choose six representatives.

Also keeping their places on the board are Ken Malley and Steve Tovey, who also stood for re-election.

In addition, there are three fresh faces to join the existing set-up in the form of Tom Dearie, John Kimbell and Mark Farwell.

Dearie has been one of the driving forces behind the hugely-successful Pompey Fans’ Days, with the most recent one taking place in July.

Kimbell owns a digital communications agency called Navigate and has helped introduce the Blippar concept to the club programme this season.

Finally, Farwell has spent 21 years as a university lecturer and also has experience of working in a medium-sized corporation providing community-based care services.

Of the eight candidates who stood in the election, Carl Paddon and Stuart Hardman failed to secure enough of the votes.

In addition, there were three Trust board members who opted not to stand for a second two-year term – Scott Mclachlan, Jo Collins and Dan Fearnley.

The six newly-elected members will have the opportunity to meet supporters in their new roles at the next Trust AGM on Monday.
