Gosport Borough’s unbeaten Vanarama Conference South run continued in fine style as Justin Bennett netted a hat-trick in an emphatic 5-0 win at Weston-super-Mare.

Matt Paterson and substitute Paco Saez were also on target for Alex Pike’s men.

The Hawks broke their duck with a confident 3-1 win over Staines Town in the Vanarama Conference South at Westleigh Park.

Two goals in six minutes midway through the first half from Josh Huggins and Shamir Mullings put the Hawks in charge.

Though Staines pulled a goal back early in the second half, substitute JJ Hooper restored the hosts’ two-goal lead to give Lee Bradbury’s men victory at the fourth time of asking.

AFC Portchester’s fine winning form continued as they rolled out 4-0 winners on a poor surface at Totton and Elling in the Wessex League premier division.

Graham Rix’s side have now won three games on the bounce thanks to goals from Elliot Ward (2), Sammy Igoe and Joe Noakes.

Warren Hunt walked out a hat-trick hero as Petersfield fired five past tough opponents Bournemouth in an impressive 5-3 victory.

Jason Silver added a further two goals for the home side to see off the battling visitors.

Fareham Town battled to a goalless draw at Blackfield & Langley.

Chances on goal were at a premium in the contest, with Town keeper Luke Douglas at his best late on to ensure a point for Matt Parr’s side.

In-form Moneyfields recorded their fourth win from five Wessex League premier division matches with a 2-0 success over 10-man Bemerton Heath Harlequins at Dover Road last night.

Steve Hutchings’ 88th league goal in Moneys yellow, made him the club’s all-time goal scorer as he fired the hosts in front, before Alfie Rutherford sealed the victory late on.

Elsewhere, Bognor picked up their first point of the Ryman League premier division season with a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Kingstonian.

In Wessex League division one, United Services Portsmouth recorded an impressive 4-0 victory at Romsey with Matt Magro, Michael Dart and Callum Coker all netting.

Baffins Milton Rovers continued their unbeaten start to the defence of their Hampshire League title with a hard-fought 3-2 win at QK Southampton thanks to Jason Parish, Danny Rimmer and Blu Boam.

Paulsgrove also netted three goals but went one better than counterparts Baffins by keeping a clean sheet in their victory over Otterbourne with Liam Horsted (2) and Aidan Hatton on target.

Darren Ferguson netted twice for Clanfield as they beat Stockbridge 2-1 at Peel Park.

Fleetlands lost a seven-goal thriller against AFC Stoneham as Callum Laycock, Martin Steele and Jack Searle’s goals counted for nothing.

Locks Heath earned a 3-0 win at Hedge End as Ollie Sturt, Callum Briton and Jonny Betteridge’s goals sealed a comfortable victory.
