Moneyfields were denied the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Wessex League premier division after a 2-1 defeat to fellow title-rivals Blackfield & Langley.
Goals either side of half-time from Edgar Zanin and Liam Green gave the home side a two-goal cushion.
Jack Lee gave Miles Rutherford’s side a late lifeline but it was too little to late as third-placed Blackfield secured the win to put pressure on the Dover Road side and Petersfield, who remain in second.
The Rams’ home fixture with Fawley was called off due to a waterlogged pitch – as was Horndean’s trip to Brockenhurst and Fareham’s visit of Christchurch.
AFC Portchester’s game at Bemerton Heath Harlequins did survive the weather, though, as they drew 1-1.
