The Rocks moved into the second qualifying round of the FA Cup, after scrapping to a 1-0 home win over Sittingbourne.

Terry Dodd’s finish on 10 minutes proved to be the difference between the two sides in a hard-fought affair this afternoon.

Moneyfields join them in the hat for the next round after drawing 1-1 at Goldaming.

Rob Evans put Miles Rutherford’s side ahead, but Ben Edwards levelled for the hosts in the second-half, to set up a replay at Dover Road on Tuesday.

There was no such joy for Horndean who crashed out of the competition, with a 3-1 defeat to Hungerford.

Torr Spicer put the Deans ahead before the break.

But second-half strikes from Mark Draycott, Dean Stowe and Jamie Gosling turned the tie on its head.

Elsewhere, Fareham Town picked up a handy Wessex League victory at home to Alresford.

Rob Tambling netted twice to put the Reds two ahead and, despite the visitors pulling a goal back, Fareham held out for a 2-1 success.
