The home side lost out to a wonder goal five minutes from time.
They had earlier had defender Sean Wain sent off for a second bookable offence.
‘We feel a little hard done by because it was probably our best performance so far,’ said manager Miles Rutherford.
‘In the second half we dominated possession and the final result was harsh.’
GE Hamble took a 20th-minute lead.
But Jamie Hore headed the equaliser 10 minutes before the break.
Rory Williams then condemned the Copnor club to their first loss of the season with an unstoppable 35 yard half-volley.
AFC Portchester slumped to a 6-1 defeat at Bournemouth Poppies.
That made it 12 goals conceded in two games for Glenn Bridgman’s side.
A Nathan Paxton brace earned Horndean a 2-1 win over Fawley on the Waterside on Friday night.
Horndean were good value as they chalked up a third straight win.
‘It was an excellent performance and we were comfortable throughout,’ said manager Dave Carter.
‘We hit the woodwork three times.’
Paxton put the visitors ahead on the half-hour, firing his shot into the top corner – after good work from Louis Bell.
It was 2-0 when Paxton headed home a Bell cross 10 minutes after the break.
The hosts pulled a goal back late on.
