A superb Andreas Robinson double saw the Hawks hold Barnet to a 2-2 draw in the National League.
Shaquile Coulthirst twice gave the Bees the lead at the Hive on Tuesday night.
But each time Robinson fired stunning long-range levellers to earn a share of the spoils for the Hawks.
Lee Bradbury’s side remain 21st in the table – with 11 points from their opening 13 fixtures.
The Hawks made one change to their starting line-up, with Alfie Pavey replacing Aaron Cosgrave up front alongside Nicke Kabamba.
Cosgrave, who netted in the draw with Ebbsfleet on Saturday, dropped to the substitutes’ bench.
Within the first minute, Hawks keeper Ben Dudzinski had to turn a Jack Taylor volley around his near post.
It was a determined start from Barnet and Coulthirst sent a firmly struck drive past the upright.
There was a huge let-off for the Hawks when Josh Walker was put clean through but – with only the keeper to beat – he shot wide.
With the hosts pushing forward, it was a difficult opening for Bradbury’s side.
And Barnet took a deserved lead with a 12th-minute penalty.
Ed Harris clumsily clattered Dan Sweeney to the ground when defending a corner and Coulthirst sent Dudzinski the wrong way from 12 yards.
Pavey narrowly failed to get on the end of a far-post cross from Marley Ridge as the Hawks looked to respond.
But instead Dudzinski prevented them going further behind with a good point-blank block seven minutes before the break.
Ibra Sekajja replaced Ridge at the start of the second half.
And the Hawks were looking busier going forward with the introduction of the substitute.
However, it took a terrific full-length save from Dudzinski to deny Barnet a second goal before Robinson levelled with a superb strike on 70 minutes.
Kabamba released the midfielder, who burst forward, cut in from the left and curled a beautiful shot into the far bottom corner.
With 10 minutes remaining Coulthirst restored the Bees’ lead with a low shot after he was allowed to twist and turn on the edge of the area.
But in a dramatic finish, Robinson curled a magnificent free-kick into the corner of the net for a stoppage-time equaliser.
