The Hawks have swooped to sign Eastleigh striker Ben Wright, subject to confirmation from the Football League.

Lee Bradbury has added the front man to his ranks after seeing his side score just one goal in their past Vanarama Conference South games.

The Hawks also have injury doubts over JJ Hooper and Alan Connell going into their up-coming fixture with Eastbourne Borough.

Wright’s presence in front of goal should prove vital, with the 6’2’ forward scoring 13 goals in 16 appearances last season as the Spitfires gained promotion to the Conference Premier.

In a well-travelled career, the 26-year-old’s previous clubs include Peterborough, Kettering Luton, Braintree, Forest Green Rovers and Basingstoke.
