The Hawks will host Real Betis in a pre-season friendly at Westleigh Park tomorrow.

The Blue Square South side have stepped in at the last minute to accomodate the Spanish La Liga side after their fixture with Pompey was cancelled today.

The Blues were unable to fulfil the fixture after their flight home from America, where they were on tour, was grounded due to damage caused by a catering cart.

Steve Cotterill and his side are not due back to Britain until Sunday, leaving their Spanish visitors a date free in their own pre-season calender.

The Hawks have come to their rescue, though, and will entertain Betis in what promises to be a major crowd-puller.

The game will kick-off at 6.30pm, with entry £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

The Hawks, who were due to play Gosport Borough tomorrow, will now play Alex Pike’s side on Monday.
