Assistant manager Shaun Gale admits the priority at the club this season is maintaining their hard-earned National League status.

At the same time he feels the cup games still serve a useful purpose.

He said: '˜Every game we play is important to us.

'˜However, we have to look at the situation carefully because the most important thing to us is staying in the National League.

'˜We have important league games coming up on Saturday and next Tuesday.

'˜On Saturday we are at Ebbsfleet and then we go to Barnet on Tuesday.

'˜We have to make sure our players are fit and ready for two games in a short space of time. In the past we might have gone a lot stronger and included a few more first team players. Now we are not prepared to take the risk with them.

'˜We do have a number of players, though, who have been on the bench and not involved.

'˜This will be a chance for them to go out and stake a claim. If they go out and play well they can force themselves back into contention.'

Goalkeeper Ben Dudzinski is likely to get a rare outing and a chance to get some minutes under his belt.

The young keeper who arrived from Lowestoft Town last season has had to be patient as understudy to the experienced Ryan Young.

Defender Jordan Rose may also get the chance for a start on his return from injury.

Loanee midfielder Jordan Simpson could also make his first appearance in front of the home fans.

One player keen to get the opportunity is Andreas Robinson who was left out of the squad against Sutton United.

He will want to show his quality and push to regain his place.

Up front youngsters Alfie Pavey and Alfie Rutherford may have a point to prove.

Chances have been limited for both in recent games with Lee Bradbury opting to play with one striker Nicke Kabamba.

Pavey looked threatening when he went on as a substitute against Sutton.

Rutherford was stamped on soon after he went on but Gale is hopeful he can recover in time.

Moneyfields manager Dave Carter may also juggle his resources ahead of further cup commitments at the weekend.

He accepts he may rest a few players with an important FA Cup tie at Hayes & Yeading to consider.

Striker Felipe Barcelos is back in contention.

The Moneys boss said: '˜The important thing for us is to be competitive and give a good account of ourselves.'
