The home side are also looking to stretch their unbeaten run in the league to 11 games.

Carter is expecting his team to face a muscular challenge.

He said: '˜Paulton are a big physical side so we will have to front up to the challenge,' said Carter.

'˜Hopefully some of our more experienced players will have recovered fully from the weekend.

'˜This is a great chance for us because none of the other top teams are in action.

'˜Confidence is high in the camp and everybody wants to play.

'˜I am looking for us to make the most of this opportunity.

'˜Hopefully we can build on our 3-1 win at Bideford.

'˜In the opening half hour of that game we played some of our best football of the season.'

Fareham Town host Hampshire Premier League team Paulsgrove at Cams Alders in the Portsmouth Senior Cup (7.45pm).
