Moneyfields and Bitton AFC have both been charged by the Football Association (FA) for bringing the game into disrepute.
The Wessex League premier division side and their Western League rivals have been officially reprimanded by the English game’s governing body after their FA Vase game at Dover Road was abandoned 10 minutes into extra-time following a mass brawl involving players from both teams.
Both clubs have now been invited to a disciplinary meeting at FA headquarters in London on Wednesday.
Moneyfields, however, will consider their options over the weekend before deciding whether to travel to the capital.
The club have also said they will not make a statement until Monday.
It is now likely both sides will be kicked out of the FA Vase.
